The pinwheels stood no chance against the Mighty D…
First steps
Hey D! Something I haven’t mentioned on your blog yet, but oh yeah! You started walking!!
You took your first steps right around your first birthday. The first few times it happened were when people were asking you if you were going to start walking.
The first culprits were your grandmas. The day before your birthday party, they asked, “Dimitri, are you ever going to...
Our offer on the house was accepted! The inspection is today so our fingers continue to be crossed waiting to hear good news.
The human mind is so funny. When I was waiting to hear if our offer was accepted, I was so incredibly anxious. I felt like I did in seventh grade, when I prayed ardently to God every night that He would make me a cheerleader. Then I would never ask for anything ever,...

This morning we met our friends Stephanie and Sadie at the zoo. You and Sadie had fun crawling/running around the primate area, passing leaves back and forth to each other, and petting the goats.
Then we went to the aquarium and you pulled off your shorts and started waving them in front of Sadie. You thought it was pretty funny (we all did). Way to keep it classy, D.
Love, Mom
