My Bodhi Tree
[Flash 10 is required to watch video]
Today we took Buckley to the vet, and Dimitri enjoyed walking him on his leash after we got home. He also likes to take my finger and walk me around the house. It’s the little bit of exercise I’m getting these days.
We’re entering a super-autonomous phase, where my formerly agreeable son’s two favorite words are “No” and “Mine.” You can see him saying the former at the end of this video. I don’t even know where he learned to say “mine” - we don’t say it to him. If he grabs something fragile of Booth’s, I’ll say that’s Daddy’s, but no one ever says mine. I guess it’s just ingrained in his toddler DNA.

I confess - I’ve said “mine” when it comes to cell phones and I Pads. I promise not to do it any more!
